As driving traffic to your blog has always have been the top priority in professional SEO blogging, it is not quite as easy to convert those visitors into loyal readers and ultimately to subscribers.

So how can you do it?

1. Actively Participate in Other Relevant Communities

Aside from filling your blog with interesting and relevant content, make sure to join and actively participate in other relevant communities for these are where you can find your potential members and have the chance to introduce and let them be aware of your blog, providing you the opportunity to connect with them and invite them to visit your blog.

2. Write about What You Love

Because readers can distinguish between passionately written topic and a duty-driven written topic, you should try to write about something that you are passionate about and love. Your blog can be made more interesting to your reader if your reader can connect and empathized with what you have written; thus, making an interaction between you and them, the readers.

3. Write Great Content

Make sure to write great content — that is interesting to your readers, fresh and engages your readers to empathize or react to the content. Readers usually want to feel connected to you for blogging is a two-way conversation, an interaction between the reader and the blogger.

Inject some personality into your content, providing valuable and meaningful content and developing a conversation with your readers.

4. Answer Questions for Your Readers

One way of writing interesting and informative content that can drive traffic to your blog is by writing topics that readers find interesting — these can be found from the feedbacks of readers, their questions and their asking of advices and requests. We could safely assume that these topics are also interesting to other readers.

5. Empathized With Your Readers

Write articles or blog posts that correspond to your reader’s needs. Write topics that appeal to your reader as well as topics that will help them. Respond to comments and questions and give opinions for these show that you care for them and value the time they gave to you by reading your blog.

6. Always Write Something New

In order to attract more blog subscribers is to write useful, creative, fresh and original blog articles.

Nowadays, there are many bloggers in the internet, with most bloggers writing almost the same content. So if you want to attract more subscribers, write something new, something interesting, something helpful and something appealing and attention-grabbing!

7. Give Value to your Reader’s Comments and Feedback

Make sure to answer your readers’ comments and feedback. These will show that you care for their opinions even though you don’t agree.

Readers that are commenting will attract more people to give their opinions also thus making your blog audience grow. Your duty as a blogger is to pose one side of a debate and open the conversation as well as continue the conversation in the comments.

Overall, to attract more readers and subscribers to your blog, write articles that are interesting, fresh and unique, and appealing to readers. These should answer your readers’ questions as well as help and provide your reader with information that can help them and can persuade your readers to comment and give feedback that can open channels for further interaction or conversation between your readers and you.

Seven blogging tips that could help you grow your blog readers have already been discussed in the first part of this blog post, now in order to help you more to achieve success more easily and more quickly with your blog, here are more additional blogging tips to grow your loyal blog readers:

1. Provide Content with Real Depth AND Substance

Create blog posts that provide readers with real value — articles that have depth and substance and provide significance to the readers. In this way, your readers will find satisfaction with what they have read, giving your readers a reason to come and read some more of your blogs.

2. Show Consideration for Your Audience

Give your audience the respect that is due them. Do not bombard them with too much emails and pop-ups. These emails and pop-ups may cause them to be irritated or annoyed with your site as well as cause distraction, so rather than reading and remaining in your site, readers might jump to another site.

3. Be True To Your Word

Deliver and keep your promise. Do not disappoint your reader by promising something (like giving incentives or discussing a certain topic) and not delivering or keeping that promise.

Likewise be consistent in delivering these promises.

4. Do not Forget to Ask for Subscriptions at the End of Your Article

Invite your readers to subscribe. Do not hesitate to ask them to subscribe to your blog at the end of an article.

Usually, if readers make it to the end of your blog article, it means that your reader had liked what he has read so they will be more likely to be open to sign up for more.

5. Place your subscription form in a prominent place – a place where people can immediately see them.

Emphasize email, not RSS, for more people know email more and check it daily than RSS.

6. Place Your Subscriber Box at the Top

Put the subscriber button/box at the top of the blog if possible or above the fold. This would surely increase your email subscribers.

Likewise, it would also help if you have a Google Reader button at least, in addition to the standard RSS button

7. Offer a Benefit

Offer your readers incentives that will cause or persuade people to subscribe. 0ffer them something of value that would encourage people to subscribe and deliver to them the price consistently to keep their attention.

11. Treat Blogging As Your Hobby

Yea, this is what blogging is all about. Before I get to knew about blogging, I don’t even know what blogging is. And I thought all we can write in blogs are just personal matters. But then after I’ve gone through some very successful blogs, only then I knew that blogs are just not mean for personal life stories. More can be achieve with blogs. Its been few months since I blogged. Now, blogging has become part of my life, I’ll write at least one post everyday. Frankly speaking, I likes blogging. It has become one of my hobby. This is what you need to. Love to blog, only then you will blog with enthusiasms. And with your enthusiastic attitude, you will automatically put more effort into your blog. Write more good post and always update your blog.

12. Always Visit Other’s Blogs

This is what you can do when you’re free. Always visit other people’s blogs. Why? When you do this, I’m sure you will eventually come across with great blogs. And you can get more idea from other people’s blogs. How they blog, their blog design, their content and etc. Besides that, if you saw a highly trafficked blog, you can then consider to subscribe to their posts. This will be very helpful especially if the blog you subscribe is in the same niche as yours. You can also drop comments on other’s blogs. Make more friends in blogsphere. If you drop comments on other’s blogs, most of them will reply you back. This is also an alternative way you can increase your traffic.

13. Always Do Stat Tracking

Another important task you need to do is to track your traffic. You must insert some stat counter in your blog to track your blog traffic. Here are two suggestions:

Why did you need to know where your traffic come from? Let me give you a brief example. Lets say you check your traffic stat today, and you discover that almost all of your traffic came from goarticles. So what can you do with this information? You can concentrate on writing more articles and submit them to goarticles. This will further boost your traffic. And of course, there are still more features and information you can dig from your traffic stat. This is just one of the example. Know more about your traffic, and you can increase your traffic well.

14. Allow Anyone To Comment

I don’t know whether you’ve allowed anyone to comment in your blog. If you’ve not done so, please allow anyone to be able to drop comment in your blog now. If you’re afraid of people spamming or dropping irritated comments, you can always allow moderation to your comments. You can set this under ‘Setting’. I believe you do want people to say about your blog or your posts right.

15. Give Time For Your Blog

This is what most people failed at. They want quick success in just few days, they want to be a Millionaire in a very short time. This is not possible. Although the internet already serve as a very powerful leveraging tool, but there is no instant success. This is what I think. Everything, needs time to develop. And this include your blogs. If your traffic is not high enough, then maybe your blog is still young. However, how much time do you need to have your blog develop, it will depends on how much effort you’ve pour in. It is always like this, how much time and effort you’ve put into your blog, you will get back the exact rewards from it. Nothing more nothing less. 6. Always Ping After Posting

This is what you need to do after every posts. Remember, always ping your blog. This is to make sure that search engine spider will always crawl your blog after you’ve updated it. Search engines like sites that are always updated. Therefore you must ‘ask’ the crawler to crawl your blog regularly. This will also help you improve your ranking in search engine. A site which always updated is will rank higher than a site that seldom update. This will also help you tell your subscribed readers that you’ve publish a new post. 7. On Page optimization

You can do this very easily. You can bold of italic your keywords that you want to optimize for in every of your posts. This is a strategy to that can help you increase your ranking in search engine. For example, if you are targeting keywords like make more money online, then you can bold those words. Just like what I did here in my blog. Although on page optimization is less

important than off page optimization (Number of links). But on page optimization still is a factor that will affect your search engine ranking. This is a very simple step that you can take. So be sure to bold or italic your keywords in your blog content. There are still many other on page optimization you could do, but this is for now.

8. Update Your Blog Regularly

I believe you’ve heard this over and over again. But since this is also consider as a blogging tips, so I included it here in The Ultimate Blogging Tips. You know, a blog is something like a diary, just that it is in electronic form. A diary is something that you should write down everyday, so goes for blogs. You should always publish new posts in your blog. The best is everyday, but if you’re busy, then go for at least 5 posts a week. This is what most people do with their blogs, post regularly. If you don’t have any topics to write on, simply use the search engines or any article directories to look for your topics. But don’t copy other people’s content. Just the rough idea, and write with your own words.

9. Include An “About” Section

I’ve stress about this in my previous post, 10 Common Blogging Mistakes. In fact, all the points in that post can be insert here. Why do you need an “About” section? Very simple, you want your readers to know more about you. And if you’re promoting products in your blog, a brief profile of yourself will definitely increase the credibility of your blog and products. Readers and visitors will trust your products more if they know more about you, right? By the way, you can consider including your photo in your blog as well. 10. Use Simple Language

A blog is site, a more user-friendly site. And if you tell your friends about your blog, the first thing goes into their mind is that they will think that your blog is about your personal life. Most people don’t know that blogs can be use for money making purposes. So, what I’m going to tell you is that, because content will be your main reason why visitors coming to your blog. Therefore you should have a friendly content, write using simple language. You want to be friend with your readers, and not those buyers-sellers relation. Don’t make your blog too formal, a warm friendly feeling blog is a good blog. So you get me, write in plain language just like you always talk to your friends. It will be even better if you can write in those language that a 7 year-old child can understand you. This will make sure that your readers understand what you’re going to tell them.
