They are shutting the power off… What can I do?

I live in California in a 4300 sq ft home with 12 bedrooms. I share the house with 19 other people. 15 are children. My sister and her husband died and we took in their 6 kids. There are two families in the home. We use about 4500 kwh per month and our bill is over 1000 all the time. Last month it was almost $1600. Paying about 35 cents a kilowatt hour right now. One of the four adults lost their job and we can not afford the power any more. Can’t move because we owe more than the house worth. We were able to scrape by in the past but I am not sure now. Does anyone install solar with no upfront costs. Pulling my hair out. Called pge and we don’t qualify for the programs. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thx.
Thx so much for the Answers so far.

How much do you pay per kwh? Why do I pay so much more than every one else? We only run the AC when its over 105 outside. We have a wholehouse fan we use religously. All lights are cfl with motion detection at the switch. Our water does come from a well pump though. Why is there not some way I can pay less per kwh?

Maybe Obamma can tack your energy bill onto his energy bill

That”s great news. When your power goes out you won”t be destroying the environment anymore with evil carbon.

Be sure to ask Obama for some carbon offsets.

Put 2 people per bedroom, leaving 2 vacant bedrooms which you can rent to someone that likes people.

Call the electric company at once and explain there are children in the building. It is illegal for them to shut the electricity off where there are small children and elderly over a certain age.

If they give you a hard time call the department of health immediately and they will make them stop.

Whether you want to simply cut your power bills to half or completely eliminate them – the one stop solution is Earth4Energy.
Why pay a huge amount like $1000”s for utilization of solar or wind power when you can have the opportunity to build your own home made solar system for less than $50.
